Some winter shots...

The huge slacker that I've been, I apologize for. I've been super busy holed up in the Airstream most of my waking hours making espresso drinks, or at least waiting to make espresso drinks. I'm still working part time at the Appaloosa Museum also, which has been a nice break from the small quarters of the Airstream. I just made a neato stuffed horse head for kids to play with. I wish I had a picture of it to post here for you to see... Maybe tonight when I get home I'll take a shot of it. I'm pretty clever if I do say so myself... The horse head goes along with a little booklet, which I also whipped up (actually was the idea of my boss at the museum, then I implemented), and it teaches young'ens what horse face markings are called. IE: star, stripe, snip, blaze, etc... And on the horse head there are velcro markings you can take on and off. I hope the kids think it's fun... I'm pretty sure it wouldn't be a hit at a college party, but the little ones should think it's a kick in the pants.

So these are some hats I knitted up to sell at the stand for Christmas to help cover the bills. It was amazing how slow the holidays were around Moscow. I had about half of the customers as I normally do.

This is a pic from Thanksgiving... I know I have some catching up to get to present day... This is a baked pumpkin stuffed with wild rice and apple stuffing. A recipe I got for the Food Co-Op. It turned out pretty dang tasty.

Winter shot of the Sweet Pea Pod in the frigged north.

Parting shot of a late fall sunset over the Palouse... Ciao for now...
