Yup, here I am in Texas. You'll have to wait till this evening for pictures (at the soonest) because I forgot to put my battery in my camera yesterday. I got all the way to the coffee house when I noticed that my camera wouldn't turn on.
What in tarnation am I doing in Texas, you might ask? Well, one of my favorite cousins on my dad's side of the family invited me down to help her and her boyfriend open a new coffee house. How could I decline such an offer!?! That's like asking Pooh to work in a honey factory! So, here I am in Texas. I'll be taking pictures of two story cowboy boots and rug shops with cow hides hanging across the whole front, as soon as I get my battery and camera reunited.
In the meantime, here are some pictures of back home to satiate your need for pretty things to look at.
This is the vegetable garden Christopher built for me in May. Since apparently I have been neglecting it, the deer have trimmed up all the squash vines around the perimeter of my meager fencing attempt.
Here we have acorn squash growing on one of the vines smart enough to stay inside the fence.
And the one tomato plant residing up in the "vegetable garden" is a pear tomato, pear tomatoes and all.
And my parting shot of the day, Christopher testing out his long lost skills as a pizza dough thrower. It was like riding a bike, apparently your hands just remember what to do.
